Equine Craniosacral Therapy involves working with the body's energy field, soft tissue and connective tissue.  This enhances the discovery and release of deep emotional or physical trauma in a non-invasive and (more often than not) pleasurable way.  Trauma in the horse is sometimes experienced when a deep blockage is not clearing itsself.  Treatment is then taken more gently and both owner and I are involved in handling the horse to make the transition as smooth as possible.

The gentle but very powerful energetic techniques work through the body's tissues to help release retained causes of pain and dysfunction.  As blockages are released I track the subtle energy changes through the energy field thus allowing the body (not the practitioner) to guide healing energy to deeper layers of restriction and distortion within the body.

Once released most blockages and dysfunctions do not tend to return (again individuals differ on how many sessions this would take).  The main purpose of the therapy is to assist the body to clear deep blockages and to allow the inner-self healing mechanism to take over and work more effectively.
