Thank you very much for coming to see Meg on saturday, it was nice to hear what she had to say. I have looked into getting some hoof boots for her, but I am a bit worried thatrub her if she was turned out in them for any length of time. I am currently looking into things that may help her more comfortable in the field.
I have managed to get Tom mcmullen to come out to see her yesterday. I think you would be interested to know that he found she was out in the poll, the near shoulder and her back/hind quarters. So you were right on all fronts, he also confirmed (without any prompting or mention of what had told me!) that she would have had constant headaches. I am so glad i kept on trying to help her, I could seee she was in so much pain and at last I feel I am making headway. the good news is that after a lot manipulation (which I had to keep telling myself was for the best) I could see almost instant results.
It is early days yet, but i can see the old Meg returning! She walked to and from the field next to Chris today, not trailing behing to keep her distant and when rugging her she didn't look tense at all!
Tom is coming back out in January to see her again, I guess maybe that it is something that I will have to keep doing to help her.
Thank you so much for your help.
